Abi Hope ate breakfast this morning at Cracker Barrel for the first time. Of course Gammy had to take her shopping while we waited for our food. She picked out her new favorite toy- Geoffrey the Giraffe. She has spent most of the day loving on him and giving him kisses. I took a couple of pics. So check them out. Uncle Will also got her a special surcie but you'll have to stay tuned for those pics:)

Sweet Potatoes, Pears, and "Toefu!"
Abi Hope has become quite the little eater. Her favorites include sweet potatoes, pears, and "toefu" (check out the pics!) She also has two teeth now. The first one came in on August 5th and the second August 7th. However she has not cooperated with my attempts to get pictures, so I guess that we will have to wait until they are a little bigger. She is also learning to hold her bottle herself and trying to figure out how to use a sippy cup! I can't believe her 6th month birthday is just around the corner! Where did the time go?!

Seven Wonderful Years
John Allen and I celebrated seven wonderful years of marriage today along with Abi Hope's five month birthday! We spent the day together at the Georgia Aquarium... a trip that we have planned over and over for three years but never made. So enjoy the pictures and if you have a chance to go don't skip walking through the Oceans Ballroom. There are two huge viewing windows (one for the beluga whales and one for the Ocean Voyager tank) in the ballroom and today there were only a handful of people in there. We were able to get right next to the glass and just sit and watch! It was amazing! So peaceful away from the crowds where you could just enjoy God's creativity! He has such an imagination!
By the way, Saturday was my Gramp's 93rd birthday and we were able to celebrate with him on Sunday. Check out those pics too!
We Made It!
Well it's finally Friday the 24th! Most of you know that John Allen has been in Daytona Beach at youth camp for the last week which means Abi Hope, Carolina, and I were at home alone for the week. Most of you also know that I am terrified to stay home alone! But here we are on Friday and the week was relatively uneventful except I think that I have only slept a total of 12-14 hours over the last four nights! I'm definitely exhausted but the girls (Abi Hope and Carolina) and I were able to spend a lot of quality time together this week and I have some pictures to chronicle our time. So check out the pictures that I've uploaded to the gallery and enjoy. Also I'd like to thank all the people that did special things for me this week to help the time go by faster and just lend a hand since I was own my own this week- especially Will and Micah! Thanks guys!
FINALLY!

I know that this update has been a long time coming! Everyone has been begging for more recent pictures so here we go. I'm fairly sure that this blog will not be for me to share any deep thoughts or witty stories but I promise to make an effort to keep you updated on our lives- mainly Abi Hope's- with pictures to accompany her accomplishments!

Abi Hope
Today is March 3rd- the day Abi Hope will come into the world. Jenni is ready to go and the doctor really wants to see Abi around lunch time. We shall see. I am hoping for 3:03pm. Wouldn't that be cool? Abigail Hope Arnett, born 3/03/09 at 3:03pm. I love it! I will be updating pictures soon.
